Taking you from chaotic thoughts to

cohesive design

1. Sharing ideas

Book your Discovery Call to get started. I’ll ask about your ideas and you’ll share some photos, helping me to better visualise your rooms. We’ll book in a home visit, then share thoughts on Pinterest so I can begin to understand the styles you’re drawn to.

2. Sparking inspiration

Whether as part of the Full Design Service or a standalone Inspire Session, we’ll begin by exploring your space together, sharing samples and ideas about your project. If you and your family have differing ideas, I’ll ‘mediate’ to find a design everybody connects with.

3. Bringing your ideas to life

Back at the studio I’ll bring everything together, design clever solutions for problem areas, summarise everything as a reminder of our conversation, and arrange for samples to be sent. If requested, I’ll also produce floor plans, so you can see how everything works in situ.

4. Next steps

If you booked an individual Inspire Session you will have the motivation and momentum to bring your project to fruition. Or moving forward with the Full Design Package, I’ll send across an itemised quote and timeline explaining what happens next.

5. Where the magic happens

When you’re happy with the scope of the project, we’ll agree timelines and begin the work. I’ll produce complete designs for your room, liaise with contractors, arrange the design of bespoke furniture and provide a personalised package with as much support as you need.

6. The finishing touches

When it comes to those final details, I’m here to take the stress out of perfection. I’ll help compile a snag list and ensure all work is completed to the highest quality. And I’ll provide a pick-list of accessories, making it quick and easy to order items that complement the design.

"Kay is a very personable and positive person, who offers a professional and practised eye. When I first approached Kay, I had already commissioned a new kitchen and knew the look I wanted to achieve in our dining, mezzanine and living room areas, but Kay was excellent at giving me direction and helping me decide the mix of fabrics, colours and furnishings to choose and where to place furniture. She also gave me constructive and helpful feedback on the finer elements of the project, such as artwork and rugs. I am delighted with the results and especially that Kay was happy to support my bold colour choices, as well as pushing me to use a few colours I hadn't considered previously. The final palette is so uplifting and yet the rooms are sophisticated and stylish. It was a pleasure working with Kay and I would definitely recommend her."
